Export Bahrain, since its inception, has been instrumental in streamlining Bahrain’s exports to 51 countries, a senior official said.
Fatima Rostam, head of export operations at Export Bahrain, also said that export credit insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises, subsidies and consultations were among the main services offered by the agency.
Rostam reached its peak during a webinar hosted by the Bahrain Chamber on Export Credit Insurance Solutions in cooperation with âExport Bahrainâ and The Arab Investment & Export Credit Guarantee Corporation âDHAMANâ.
The webinar focused on export credit insurance solutions and fostering small and medium-sized businesses in international markets.
In his remarks, Sawsan Abulhasan, head of the Bahrain House Finance, Insurance and Taxation Committee, stressed the importance of diversifying business activities and reflecting on opportunities in international markets to reduce risk, improve competitiveness and strengthen the sustainability of businesses.
